Planet Quest

Planet Quest is a unique Rhythm Game for iOS where the music controls both the gameplay and the visuals. Built from scratch with custom tools such as an advanced retro-inspired music tracker system, vector graphics editor and custom game engine, Planet Quest utilises the mobile device’s audio and graphic chips for no latency and optimal fun! It even has real-time audio effects like Echo!

The game includes around 1,000 individual audio samples (Drums, Piano, Synth etc) and each planet includes with it multiple .midi files for the device to read and play the music back to, like a band with sheet music. This gives Planet Quest the edge by having the potential for an unlimited amount through updates of music with a limited amount of samples.

The music is catchy, the graphics are cute and the gameplay is addictive.
